Fraud and Abuse

We have implemented a reporting hotline as an anonymous risk-free way to report unethical or illegal activity. With this system, you can report questionable activities any time of the day or night, via the telephone or the web.

Typical unethical or illegal activity may include, but is not limited to the following:

• Post-Retirement Issues
• Salary Spiking
• Future Service Credit Purchases
• Exemptions
• Enrollment/Eligibility Reporting
• Dependent continuing to cash or receive retirement payments for deceased member(s)
• Claiming disability, but observed performing regular duties
• Obtaining, or attempting to obtain, confidential information without proper authority
• Intentionally falsifying information

We have contracted with an independent third party, NAVEXGLOBAL to provide a mechanism for individuals to confidentially and anonymously report instances of misconduct.
