PEHP for Employers Agreement

Utah Retirement Systems (URS) provides the information and services on URS for Employers under the following terms and conditions. By accessing and/or using URS for Employers, you ( user ) indicate your acceptance of these terms and conditions.
  1. LAWS AND REGULATIONS.

    Access to and use of URS for Employers is subject to all applicable international, federal, state and local laws and regulations. User agrees not to use URS for Employers in any way which violates such laws or regulations.

  2. COPYRIGHT AND TRADEMARKS.

    The information available on or through URS for Employers is the property of URS, and is protected by copyright, trademark, and / or other intellectual property laws. Users may not modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, publish, sell, license, create derivative works or otherwise use any information available on or through URS for Employers for commercial or public purposes.

  3. TAMPERING.

    User agrees not to modify, move, add to, delete or otherwise tamper with the information contained in URS for Employers. User also agrees not to decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble or unlawfully use or reduce any of the software, copyrighted or trademarked material, trade secrets, or other proprietary information contained in URS for Employers.

  4. LINKS TO THIRD PARTY SITES.

    URS for Employers may contain links that will let you access other Web sites that are not under the control of URS. The links are only provided as a convenience and URS does not endorse any of these sites. URS assumes no responsibility or liability for any material that may be accessed on other Web sites reached through URS for Employers , nor does URS make any representation regarding the quality of any product or service contained at any such site.

  5. LINKS FROM THIRD PARTY SITES.

    URS prohibits unauthorized framing of any information contained on URS for Employers or any portion of URS for Employers. URS reserves the right to disable any unauthorized links or frames. URS has no responsibility or liability for any material on other Web sites that may contain links to URS for Employers.

    URS intends for the information contained in this Web site to be accurate and reliable.   7. PRIVACY.

    Protecting the privacy of our members and employers is important to URS. The URS Terms of Service notice describes how we use and protect information you provide to us on our Site.

  8. EXECUTION OF TRANSACTIONS.

    You can only execute transactions, or obtain personal account information, by following the instructions stated within the password protected logon portion of this site. When using URS for Employers to execute transactions, problems can occur that are beyond the ability of URS to correct. Access to URS for Employers may be limited or unavailable during periods of peak demand, systems upgrading, maintenance or other reasons. URS shall not be liable for any transaction not executed due to reasons beyond its control, including system failures. If you are not able to complete your transaction due to a system failure; fail to receive written confirmation of a transaction or its execution within ten (10) business days after execution; or receive confirmation of a transaction which you did not request, you must contact URS at 800-365-8772 immediately.

  9. TRANSMISSION OF PERSONAL DATA.

    User acknowledges and agrees that by providing URS with any personal information through URS for Employers , User consents to the transmission of such personal user information, including transmission over international borders, as necessary for processing in accordance with URS's standard business practices and the URS Terms of Service notice .

  10. ACCESS TO PASSWORD PROTECTED/SECURE AREAS.

    Access to and use of password protected and/or secure area of URS for Employers is restricted to authorized users only. Unauthorized access to such areas is prohibited and may lead to criminal prosecution.

  11. LOSS OF PASSWORD.

    If you become aware of any loss, theft, or unauthorized use of your password or User ID(s), immediately notify URS at 800-365-8772 . You are responsible for the confidentiality, and use of your password and User ID(s).

  12. REMEDIES.

    URS reserves the right to seek all remedies available at law and in equity for violations of the rules stated within this agreement, as well as the right to restrict access to this site from other Internet sites.

  13. JURISDICTION/GOVERNING LAW.

    These terms and conditions shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah , USA , and applicable federal laws without regard to conflicts of law principals. User agrees that any and all proceedings relating to URS for Employers and the subject matter contained herein shall be maintained in the courts of the state of Utah or the federal district courts sitting in Utah , which courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction for such purpose.

  14. RIGHT TO MODIFY.

    URS reserves the right to modify the rules and regulations governing this site at any time. When modifications appear on this site, users are deemed to be aware and bound by any changes to these rules and regulations.
