Utah Retirement Systems offers seminars to assist you with the very important, yet often-overlooked, subject of retirement preparedness. Many people wait to plan for retirement until they are ready to retire, and often they have no idea whether they will be able to live on their retirement income.

Personal Planning Seminars are for members at the early or middle stages of their careers. The sooner you take advantage of these programs, the greater your financial security can be.

If you are at the latter stages of your career or within 10 years of retirement, the Pre-Retirement Seminars are for you. This is your chance to start getting prepared.

Information is provided about your pension plan, 401k/457, IRA plans, and estate planning. There will also be a brief overview of Social Security and Medicare benefits.
