The 401(k) and 457 tax-deferred plans offer you eleven investment choices. As a plan contributor, you have the option to invest in any or all of them to the degree you choose. If you prefer, you may choose from three pre-set investment strategies. These Horizon Funds allow you to base your investment decision on the length of time until you retire or withdraw money from your account.

By their nature, investments incorporate an element of risk. The potential of earning substantial returns carries a correspondingly higher risk. Conversely, conservative, slower-growth investments offer investors lower returns and a lower degree of risk. Remember, past performance does not guarantee future results.
