The Group Annuity Fund is managed by Beneficial Life Insurance Co. as a group annuity contract. The principal and a 5% minimum rate of return are guaranteed by the insurance company. The rate of return is determined by the earnings of Beneficial Life's general fund. Assets in this fund are invested in government and corporate bonds, mortgages, and money market securities.
