Defined Benefit Retirement Plans

Judges' Retirement Systems Highlights

The Judges' Retirement Systems are defined benefit retirement plans under Utah Retirement Systems (URS) intended to provide a meaningful retirement to the judge in public service. They are qualified tax-deferred plans under Internal Revenue Code Section 401(a). The laws that govern these retirement systems are set forth in Utah Code Title 49.
